Imagination

Once someone told me that imagination and creation were wrong. That wishing for another world or a secret mystery, created unnecessary shadows and planted contagious doubts. They spent life with hopes for the future and knowledge of the past, they spoke three different ways and mapped their path around the earth's exact corners with definite precision. Knowledge was their everything, their pride, their life, their world, they knew what they understood and loved what they knew and life was perfect, normal, completely wrong. Imagination is there, whether you like it or not. Running through the tips of your fingers and pulsing in time with every beat of your heart. It exists in the shadows of the unknown and on the moonlit beach. It lurks around invisible corners and takes over as you sleep. But most of all it hides in the corner of your eye, disguising what you can't see, don't know, don't love. Giving you hope, beliefs, faith, powering your words and inspiring your future. It exists in the known and the unknown, the dark and the light, in you. Just another simple thought,

What we see

Stereotyping is counted as part of the meaning for the word prejudice and many people believe that stereotyping is mean and wrong. When you really think about it, it's human nature to judge people on how they look or who they're with. I believe that this is unavoidable. Nobody can turn this off and all the while there are people judging you. However, just because we form first impressions doesn't mean we need to add them to reality. I guess I just mean that although I believe stereotyping is natural and an asset of life, it is not an excuse for what it can do to a person or even a whole country, you only need to think of the horror of the holocaust and Hitler's wrong judgements to find proof for this. Just another simple thought,
